Day 01: Arrive Mumbai / Aurangabad:-

Arrive Mumbai by International flight and transfer to domestic airport to connect the flight to Aurangabad.

Aurangabad - The city is named after the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, it acted as centre of operations for Aurangzeb’s Deccan campaign. He built Bibi - ka - Maqbara, the tomb for his wife in late 17th century. Built on the Mughal style, it is one of the finest building of its period. The other places of interest include Pah Chakki (the watermill) which has a tomb dedicated to Aurangzeb’s spiritual adviser. Overnight.
Day 02: Aurangabad:-

Full day excursion to
Aurangabad Ajanta Caves - About 100 kms from Aurangabad, Ajanta caves date back from about 2nd centutry BC to 7th century AD. Cut from the volcanic lavas of the Deccan Trap, these caves have some remarkable murals and frescoes. These masterpieces retell the life story of Buddha and the life, culture and traditions of the people of the times. Some of the murals also depict Buddha in various forms and various bodhisattvas.
Aurangabad Ellora Caves - Carved in the volcanic rocks at Ellora, the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist caves are amongst the finest in the country. Total of 34 caves, 12 Buddhist caves were created between VII and IX centuries include monasteries and chapels where the monks worshipped having various stone cut structures and images of Buddha. 17 Hindus caves created during VII and X centuries have images of various Gods and Goddesses; the Kailash Temple is the most magnificent rock-cut structures meant to be a replica of Siva’s celestial abode - Kailash. The 5 Jain caves which were created between IX and XII century have an aura peace and simplicity; the carvings depict Mahavir and various animals. Overnight.
Day 03: Aurangabad / Mumbai:-

Morning transfer to airport to connect the flight to Mumbai.

Mumbai (Bombay) - The name Mumbai is said to have its name derived from the local deity Mumbai Devi. It is India’s financial and industrial capital and is popularly known as Bollywood being second only to Hollywood in number of films produced. The sights include the Gateway of India, triumphal arch built in 1911 to commemorate the arrival of King George and Queen Mary; Prince of Wales museum built in Indo - Saracenic style; Hanging Gardens and Kamla Nehru Park, which offer a panoramic view of Marine Drive and are situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill. Drive on the Marina Beach, through the Crawford Market and Flora Fountain areas. Overnight.
Day 04: Mumbai:-
Morning sightseeing tour of
Mumbai Elephanta Caves - Excursion across the harbour to the world famous, 1200 years old Elephanta Caves. Known for its rock carvings, the temple cave is dedicated to Lord Shiva representing his various forms. The famous sculpture signifying the trinity of the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer is located here. Overnight.
Day 05: Depart Mumbai:-
Transfer to International airport to connect the flight to onward destination.
